Quapaw Cellar

This circular wine cellar was created by cutting a 7 ft diameter hole through the post-tensioned slab, digging a 10 ft deep hole beneath the house, adding rebar and concrete (shotcrete) walls.  Pictures show the project still under construction.  The post-tensioned tendons (cables) crossing the opening had to be cut, and then re-tensioned on each side of the hole.
